APEL A
APEL for Access (APEL.A) was introduced for the purpose of providing opportunities and access to individuals who possess work experience but do not meet academic entry qualifications for continuing studies at a Higher Education Provider (HEP). It is a process verification of an individual’s achievement for a set of learning outcomes obtained through formal, nonformal and informal learning regardless of time and place.
The basic conditions for the APEL.A assessment application for admission to the Diploma level programme are as follows:
- Malaysian
- Aged 20 years at the time of application
- Have relevant work experience
- Passed APEL.A assessment for diploma level
Applicants with an APEL.A certificate for Diploma level are considered for admission to the following programme offered at SICT:
- Diploma in Management
- Diploma in Management (ODL)
- Diploma in Hotel Management
- Diploma in Electronic Engineering
- Diploma in Renewable Energy Management
